The Research Center for Serbian Studies established in 2010 on the initiative of the Department of History of the Serbian people in modern times (Department of History, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade). The need for the establishment of the Center grew out of scientific contacts and projects implemented by the Department employees, graduate and doctoral students. The establishment of the Center facilitated not only the organizational work on different projects, but also greatly contributed to the modernization and the enrichment of the master and doctoral studies.
